With Chandler Harnish going down with a Lisfranc injury, the Vikings late last week brought in three unnamed QBs for try outs.

Monday the Vikes settled on a new practice squad quarterback to replace Harnish, signing former Dolphin Pat Devlin. In a corresponding move, the Vikes placed Harnish on the practice squad injured list.
The 6-3, 222 pound Devlin played his college ball for Penn State and Delaware before entering the league in 2011 as an undrafted free agent.
Devlin hung on with Miami for three years, putting up some decent preseason stats along the way, before finding himself jobless in 2014.
The QB showed enough talent in college to earn a spot on Mike Mayock’s list of top 10 QB prospects headed into the 2011 draft but clearly the league didn’t quite agree with Mayock’s assessment.
In addition to the Devlin move, the Vikings also announced they have waived TE Ryan Otten from the practice squad and replaced him with TE RaShaun Allen.
The 6-4 Allen played for Southern University before joining the Seahawks in 2014 as an undrafted free agent. He was originally signed to the practice squad then saw himself elevated to the active roster for a short time.
The Seahawks cut him on Oct. 30 after having him on the yo-yo for a few weeks.
