After doing nothing as a rookie, 2014 3rd round pick Scott Crichton is trying to show the Minnesota Vikings that he belongs in the defensive line rotation.

In other words, this is a pretty important training camp for Scott Crichton. So it’s not good news that Crichton has come down with an injury that prevented him from participating in Monday’s practices at Mankato.
Initially, Crichton’s problem was described by defensive coordinator George Edwards as a “nagging injury” to an unspecified body part.
Further detail has been gleaned by beat reporters at Mankato observing Crichton:
