The Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos will go at it this weekend at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. This is a huge game for the Vikings needless to say.
I had a chance to ask Broncos blogger Brad James of Predominantly Orange a few questions about the Denver team and here’s what he had to say.
1. Is Peyton Manning done?
No, I do not think Peyton Manning is finished.

2. How good is the Broncos’ defense?
The Broncos’ defense is just as good as its statistical ranking. Every week and every play you see them contest pretty much everything. They often do not have great field position they are defending but they force turnovers in the most improbable circumstances and excel.
3. The Vikings have beaten up Matthew Stafford and Philip Rivers in successive weeks. With the Broncos struggling on the offensive line, how worried are you that Peyton Manning will be the next victim?
There is always concern for Peyton Manning’s health as his age advances and we hope for the best. The Vikings’ defense is definitely swaggerlicious.
4. The Broncos haven’t looked very good running the ball so far. Are you concerned at all about Denver’s lack of a running game?
Yes, especially since the third choice, Juwan Thompson, was succeeding against the Lions but sustained a neck injury. For whatever reason, C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman are not getting the job done right now.
5. Give me your prediction for the game.
I say the Broncos improve to 4-0, prevailing 20-16, 16-13 by some low score like that as both of these scoring defenses are magnificent.
Thanks Brad James for taking the time to give me your insights into the Denver Broncos.
