The Minnesota Vikings have teamed up with U.S. Bank Stadium to provide substantial grants to provide a new gym in St. Paul and other projects.

While the Minnesota Vikings working on getting in shape during organized team activities, one player from the team took some time out of his schedule to meet with kids in St. Paul for a great cause.

According to FOX 9, wide receiver Stefon Diggs teamed up with U.S. Bank Stadium representatives to present grants for $350,000, including $50,000 to the Sanneh Foundation, as a part of their Places To Play program.

Here is the video as aired on FOX 9 discussing the meeting with Diggs and U.S. Bank Stadium personnel as the grant was given to the Sanneh Foundation:

Stefon Diggs seems in his element around kids. Not only did his presence at the Conway Community Center bring excitement to the youth, but also set forth the plan to renovate the gymnasium.

The plan includes remodeling the facility, adding a wooden floor where it used to be tile and concrete. Giving the kids a safer place to play and encouraging more physical activity among the youth is the main goal.

The Sanneh Foundation is very excited to recieve the assistance from the Vikings and U.S. Bank Stadium.

"“People are super excited about it,” said Tony Sanneh of the foundation. “We’re kicking off a capital campaign, and we’re so thrilled that US Bank and the Minnesota Vikings together are helping us launch this project.”"
