The Minnesota Vikings shook up their practice squad on November 14, 2017, bringing back safety Jack Tocho and waiving offensive lineman Willie Beavers.
Another week goes by and the Minnesota Vikings continue to make transactions to fill out their practice squad by playing musical chairs to keep one floating player available to the team if necessary.
This time, a recently released safety returned to the team’s practice squad while an offensive lineman was let go for the third time since being drafted with 121st overall during the 4th round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
The Minnesota Vikings announced the transaction on the team’s official Twitter account on Tuesday, November 14, 2017:
Jack Tocho has been released by the Vikings twice already and finds himself returning to the team for the third time since being drafted in the 7th round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State University.
To make room for him, Willie Beavers has been released once again. He will likely return to the team based on their ability to juggle talented players, even though last time he was released by Minnesota he spent some time with the New England Patriots.
