The doors are open at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center which serves as the hub for Minnesota Vikings practices and front office operations.

Lately, there has been a lot of news surrounding the new home of the Minnesota Vikings. The move from Winter Park to Eagan, Minnesota has been an interesting one and the team has finally moved into the facility.

Called the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, the new facility houses not only the front offices for the team but will also serve as the practice facility and home of training camp starting in 2018.

Recently, the official website of the Minnesota Vikings shared some of the thoughts Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren had to say about the TCO Performance Center at the opening celebration of the facility.

More from The Viking Age

"“The first thing was to build a world-class franchise, and the way you do that, you have to have world-class people. I couldn’t be more proud or more humbled to be standing in front of world-class people. We’ve done that. We can check that box. The (second) thing we said was it’s important to build the best stadium in the world, and we have done that with U.S. Bank Stadium. After that, the next goals were for Minnesota to host a Super Bowl and to build a ‘world-class practice facility.’”"

Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf is excited about the move as well since it signals a big change and advance in technology for the franchise.

"“We are moving into a new house today. We’re going to make this house into an incredible and special home for generations to come.”"

At this time, there hasn’t been any word as to when the public will be allowed to check out the TCO Performance Center to see where the Minnesota Vikings will be putting in all their hard work, but at the very least they will see it in action during training camp this year.
