The Minnesota Vikings will face off against the winless Buffalo Bills on their home field inside U.S. Bank Stadium this Sunday.

They have only played two games so far, but it’s already been a pretty eventful season for the Minnesota Vikings this year.

After opening up 2018 with a win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Vikings ended up tying with Green Bay Packers last week thanks to an impressive comeback by Kirk Cousins and the rest of the Minnesota offense.

For Week 3, the Vikings are heading back home to the Twin Cities to take on the winless Buffalo Bills and rookie quarterback Josh Allen. Minnesota is a heavy favorite going into Sunday and if everything goes as planned, they should be able to defeat the Bills and get their second victory of 2018.

The Vikings might even get some more help on the offensive line this week as center Pat Elflein has been a full participant in practice all week long. Elflein has been recovering from offseason ankle and shoulder surgeries and has yet to appear in a game for Minnesota this year.

Despite the possibility of getting a starting offensive lineman back on Sunday, the Vikings may have to take on Buffalo without running back Dalvin Cook. The Minnesota running back has been dealing with a hamstring injury this week and his status for this week’s matchup is still up in the air.

Even without their top rusher, the Vikings should still be able to take care of business on Sunday against the Bills. When Minnesota does finally take the field to face Buffalo this week, what are four things to expect from the guys in the purple and gold uniforms?
