Trae Waynes had himself quite a full evening last night.

First there was the big draft red carpet. Then there was the green room wait (which didn’t look too disagreeable). Then there was the actual moment when Waynes heard his name called by Roger Goodell and got to come out and get his cap and jersey.

Then there was the media stuff, including a first conference call with Twin Cities reporters.
When all those obligations were completed, it was time for the newest Viking to unwind and celebrate with a little help from rapper Lil Jon of “Turn Down For What?” fame.

And the fun isn’t over for Waynes. Today he reportedly gets to fly to Minneapolis, check out Winter Park and get his tour of the stadium preview center.
Oh and he gets his first encounter with Paul Allen today too. That should be exciting.
Guessing it won’t be long till we see Waynes rocking the Minnesota Wild gear. Playoff hockey fever!!!
Enjoy it while it lasts, Trae Waynes. In a few weeks you won’t have time for fun. You’ll be too busy getting screamed at by Mike Zimmer.
